Peace – what is it really?
This week is the second Sunday in Advent and we light the second candle in our Advent Ring – the candle of peace.
Our all age service is led by our Minister, Revd Moses John, with some of the young people contributing readings and prayers.
It is also our Toy Service where we bring gifts suitable for 0-18 years which are donated to Social Services for distribution to young people in and around Haverhill who might otherwise have very little at Christmas. The Town Mayor is present to receive the gifts on behalf of Social Services.
