Bible Text: Luke 2:8-11,12-15, 16-19, 20 |

This was our Christingle service where Christingles are handed out to the congregation.

A Christingle is a symbol of the gospel, comprising an orange to represent the whole world, a red ribbon around it to represent Jesus blood shed for us on the cross, four cocktail sticks with sweets and dried fruit on to represent the four seasons and the good things God gives us. Finally there is a white candle in the top of the orange which we light to symbolise Jesus, the Light of the World. There is a picture of a Christingle in the Media Gallery
