Wednesday Fellowship
Wednesday Fellowship meets each week at 3:00pm in the Church Hall. It is an open and friendly meeting open to all ages. Meetings finish at 4:00pm, followed by tea & biscuits.
We have a varied programme from week to week with a guest speaker, members’ Bible readings and selective readings, and songs from Mission Praise.
Once a month we have a Network meeting which is Mission centred, sharing with other Churches in East Anglia, aimed at enabling, equipping and encouraging one another.
We have Bible commodities where members choose a particular Bible verse and bring a commodity to be sold, with the proceeds going to the Network fund. Easter offerings are likewise.
A midsummer meeting with faith tea enables us to share food and fellowship. We enjoy an annual outing usually to Lowestoft, and a Christmas party & carols before the Christmas break. We close during August, in keeping with the Church programme and holiday breaks.
We visit where possible, or phone friends unable to attend through illness. ‘Get well’ cards are also sent. We also have a Birthday card scheme where members past & present receive a card.
Our aim is to share the Gospel, encourage one another and enjoy fellowship and friendship.
