Sunday Club
The Children’s Sunday Club meets in the Church Hall and in ‘Next Door’ during the Sunday morning service each week, except when we have our All-Age Worship service (usually held on the 1st Sunday of every month). The children are divided into 2 groups, ages 4-10 yrs, and 11-13 yrs.
We are currently using teaching material produced by Scripture Union and the children enjoy a variety of games, songs, craft activities and Bible stories.
We have teams of 3 or 4 leaders looking after the children each week. Some of the sessions are spent all together, sharing news and hearing Bible stories, and then we may split into different age groups for various activities.
Sunday Club is a great place for the children to learn about God’s love for them, to make friends and to have fun. We also organise extra activities and get-togethers during the year such as the Sunday Club Birthday Service and Summer Picnic, and a Holiday Bible Club.
