Sunday Services

Here at Haverhill we have two services each Sunday, and you can be assured of a warm welcome at each!

The morning service begins at 10:30am, attracts around 100 and usually lasts about an hour. The service is family oriented, there is a Worship Band and most of the worship songs are contemporary. The whole church family worships together for the first part of the service and then the children and Sunday Club leaders leave to enjoy their own programme. On the first Sunday of each month there is an All-Age Worship service and the children remain in church throughout. Coffee, tea and biscuits are served every Sunday morning at the close of the service - this is a great opportunity to make new friends and have a chat.

Once a month the service will include Holy Communion, in which we are all invited to take part as we remember our Lord’s commandment to his disciples: “Do this in remembrance of me” [Luke 22:19].

The evening service at 6:30pm usually attracts a smaller number of worshippers and tends to be more traditional in style with hymns accompanied by the organ.

If anyone feels they need to talk over something that is troubling them and to have someone pray with them this can be arranged - simply tell the minister or one of the stewards.
