TOY SERVICE

Sunday 11th December

Every year near Christmas we are given the opportunity to bless local children with presents, who may otherwise not get any. The toys are donated to Social Services and are distributed to children in the local area. This year the greatest need of toys are for the age group 0-11 ans as always these toys must be new and unwrapped. Once again we shall have our Town Mayor accepting these toys on behalf of Social Services. When doing your Christmas shopping maybe think about buying one or two things for a local child who otherwise might not get much at all this Christmas. Each year when these toys are taken to the Social Services' office the staff are always overwhelmed by you generosity. So thank you in advance.

MISSION STATEMENT

The purpose of our Churches is to proclaim our Christian faith through worship and fellowship, and to win our local communities for God through service and witness.

As a Church we are all called to:

Worship
We exist to glorify God and to celebrate his love for all

Learning & Caring
To help people grow and learn in the Christian faith, through mutual support and care

Service
To be a good neighbour to all through discovering and meeting the needs of our community

Personal Evangelism
To make more followers of Jesus Christ

Ours is a faith that addresses the deepest longings of the heart, but is always turned outwards to the world and its needs

STATEMENT OF FAITH

We believe that the Bible is God’s inspired and authoritative word, revealing that Jesus Christ is God’s Son, that mankind is created in God’s image, that He created us to enjoy eternal life through Jesus Christ, that although all have sinned and fall short of God’s glory, God has made salvation possible through the death on the cross and resurrection of Jesus Christ, that repentance, faith, love, and obedience are fitting responses to God’s abundant grace toward us, that God desires all to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth, and that the Holy Spirit’s power is demonstrated in and through us for the accomplishing of Christ’s last commandment, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation” (Mark 16:15 NIV).
